Minister for Rural Development, Metsubo Jamir along with RD Director and officers during the midterm review meeting for the Financial Year 2020-2021 for all programmes under Rural Development. The meeting discussed various issues in regard to Mandays Generation, Geotagging, PMAY-G, MGNREGA, GIA, GPDP and SAGY.

Mon Battalion under the aegis HQ IGAR (North) organised a free medical camp in the Lampo Sheangha village under Mon district on December 4. The medical team of Assam Rifles provided free medical consultancy and medicines to the local populace and also briefed them on essentials of COVID-19 precautions, hygiene and sanitation.
