NEZCC invites application for Young Talent Artistes Award

Last date to receive application is on October 31

Dimapur, September 21 (MExN): The North East Zone Cultural Centre, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Dimapur has invited application for Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2019-2020 from outstanding candidates, talented/skilled in the categories of folk and tribal music/song and dance, theatre, dance drama, mime, painting, wood, cane & bamboo crafts, traditional handloom & handicrafts, pottery, etc. 

Unmarried Young artistes/artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 31stMarch, 2021) are eligible to apply for the award. The award consists of Rs. 10,000, Citation and Memento. Candidates should be an Indian citizen and Indigenous to the eight North Eastern States i.e. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Candidates who have received any such Awards (State/National) earlier in the same field are not eligible for the Scheme.

Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the Application Form from the Office of the Directorate of Art & Culture, Cultural Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and Shilpgram, Panjabari, Guwahati. Last date to receive the application is on October 31 and no application received thereafter date will be entertained.
