NF Railway maintains steady growth in freight loading

Maligaon, February 5 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway continued to maintain steady growth in freight loading. NF Railway loaded 0.879 MT during January 2022. This is an increase of 27.8% in comparison to the corresponding period of last year. NF Railway loaded 8.221 MT during the period from April 2021 to January 2022 as compared to 6.309 MT done in corresponding period of last year. This is an increase of 30.3%.  

Loading of few commodities was increased by a good margin in NF Railway during January 2022 in comparison to last year. During the month, coal loading increased by 412.5%, dolomite loading increased by 174.6%, food grains loading increased by 31.3%, fertilizer loading increased by 10%, container loading increased by 100% and loading of miscellaneous commodities increased by 54.3%. 

During April 2021 to January 2022, dolomite loading increased by 175.3% in comparison to the same period of last year. Food grains loading increased by 7.5%, container loading increased by 79.2%, fertiliser loading increased by 30.9%, other commodities increased by 100.3%; and it is an overall increase of 30.3% in comparison to the last years loading up to January 2021.
