Kohima, May 21 (MExN): The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) is inviting all District Football Association, Football Clubs and Academies, Schools and educational institutions, football community and all stakeholders concerned to join the rest of the nation under the umbrella of the All India Football Association (AIFF) in celebrating the upcoming AFC Grassroots Football Day on May 23.
This year, the AIFF’s focus is not only on the growth and development of grassroots football, but also on how football can contribute to climate action and sustainable development under the theme, “Football for the Goals”, according to NFA Senior Vice, President Kiyeka S Sumi and Joint Secretary Chenonlo Woch.
Through this celebration, the AIFF aims to promote environmental awareness and encourage the football community to take a step forward towards a greener future along with football activities.
NFA requested all participating entities to complete the Pre-Event Form to confirm their participation and also to share their event photos and videos with the Association at nagalandfaagmail.com.
