NFCA free Football coaching camp in Kohima concludes

Our Correspondent Kohima | May 26   The five five-day long free football coaching camp conducted by Nagaland Football Coaches Association (NFCA) concluded today at the Kohima Local Ground.   Held on the theme “Make Football Happen”, 46 budding footballers in the age group of 6 to 12 years and Under-17 years underwent the coaching.   Exhorting the upcoming footballers, NFCA President Roko Angami said even as the camp concluded, they should be maintaining regular practice. He however urged them that they should also give equal importance towards their studies and not only play.   He called upon them to maintain discipline not only in front of the coaches but they should respect the elders while also seeking their blessing to be successful.   NFCA Technical Director William Koso along with 12 coaches with AIFF ‘D’ license conducted the training. He also informed that NFCA would also be conducting similar camps in other districts. The coaching camp in Kohima was the second such camp following the first which was held in Dimapur.   Meritorious awards were also distributed to the campers.
