NFHRCC conducts joint inspection in Longleng division

LONGLENG, JUNE 2 (MExN): The Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) on Monday conducted a joint inspection of the ongoing Foothills Road construction under the Longleng Division.

According to a press release issued by the committee’s media cell, the inspection was carried out in collaboration with officials from the Nagaland Public Works Department (Roads & Bridges), representatives of the contractor firm M/S A. Pongshi Phom & Sons, and members of local village councils. The project under inspection involves single-lane maintenance work currently being executed at an approved cost of Rs 1,46,31,280.

NFHRCC stated that the roadwork, part of what it refers to as the “Nagaland Survival Road,” was assessed and found to be satisfactory, aligning with the Detailed Project Report (DPR) prepared by the department.

The inspection team was led by NFHRCC team leader B. Tushah Phom, along with four executive members of the committee. The committee reiterated its “unconditional service” to the people of the state and its support to the PWD (R&B) in ensuring the timely and quality construction of the foothills route.
