National Foundation for India (NFI) held a campaign on SDG at Chang Baptist Lashong Thangyen Resource Centre in Tuensang on May 23. It was co-funded by European Union and hosted by Dolen Thangjam Society, Tuensang.

The event was incorporated with outreach activity and launching of website www.leavingnoonebehind.org.in
It was attended by 83 students of class 12 from Baptist Thangyen Higher School, Tuensang along with three teachers.

Natitolen, Post Graduate Teacher, Baptist Thangyen Higher School, Tuensang spoke on SDG awareness and how as a youth can contribute towards sustainable development. She emphasized mainly on goals such as, no poverty, quality education, gender equality and peace, justice and strong institutions.

Moses Hongang Chang, a journalist spoke on career choices focusing mainly on setting right goals to the students for their future career. Encouraging the students to be passionate about what they want to do in the future, he said, “Our problem is we don’t know who we are before deciding who we are want to be.”

The moderator was Joshua Chang, Education Secretary, CBLT.
