
Maligaon, October 20 (MExN): To accommodate the surge in passenger demand during the festive season, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of two additional pairs of festive special trains.
These trains will run between Anand Vihar Terminal – Jogbani and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Agartala for a limited number of trips.
The first festive special, train no. 04010 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Jogbani), will operate on three trips, departing every Tuesday from October 29 to November 12, 2024, at 23:45 from Anand Vihar Terminal. It will reach Jogbani at 05:20 on the third day. The return service, train no. 04009 (Jogbani – Anand Vihar Terminal), will run every Thursday from October 31 to November 14, 2024, departing Jogbani at 09:00 and arriving at Anand Vihar Terminal at 16:05 the next day. The train will make stops at several stations, including Ghaziabad, Bareilly Cantt., Gorakhpur Jn., and Katihar Jn., and will feature AC 2-tier cum 3-tier, sleeper, and general coaches.
The second festive special, train no. 01065 (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Agartala), will operate for two trips, departing every Thursday from October 31 to November 7, 2024, at 11:05. It will arrive in Agartala at 01:10 on Sunday. The return train, no. 01066 (Agartala – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus), will depart every Sunday from November 3 to November 10, 2024, at 15:10 and reach its destination on Wednesday at 08:25. The train will pass through major stations like Guwahati, New Jalpaiguri, Patliputra, and Dadar. It will consist of AC 3-tier, sleeper, and general coaches.
