
Guwahati, June 21 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) today informed that two more trains has been cancelled due to “large scale agitation leading to damage to railway property including burning of train coaches” in areas falling under East Central Railway (Bihar) and damages caused to railway tracks by flood under Lumding division.
A press release from CPRO, NFR informed that railway tracks were damaged due to flood induced breaches in Chaparmukh – Senchoa section of Lumding division.
The cancelled trains were 15658 (Kamakhya-Delhi) Brahmaputra Mail; 05504 (Mairabari – Guwahati) Passenger special; 07530 (Silghat Town – Guwahati) DEMU special for June 22.
The 15621 (Kamakhya – Anand Vihar) Express of June 23 also remain cancelled, the release added.
