NFR celebrates 133rd birth anniv of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad

Maligaon, November 11 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) celebrated 133rd birth anniversary of independent India’s first education minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad at its headquarters on November 11.

“Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was a freedom fighter, a politician, and an eminent educationist. This observance was carried out in connection with celebration of 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’,” NFR CPRO Guneet Kaur informed in a press release on Thursday.

Rahul Gautam, Additional General Manager of NFR , in a tribute to the first education minister of the country, lighted the lamp and offered flower to the portrait of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Officers and staff of NFR headquarters were present during the occasion.
