MALIGAON, MAY 19 (MExN): To clear extra rush, the North East Frontier Railway (NFR) has been decided to extend the periodicity of two summer special trainsas per existing days of run, timings, stoppages and composition.
Accordingly, a press release issued by NFR CPRO Sabyasachi De informed that train no 06570 (Guwahati – SMVT Bengaluru) special departing from Guwahati on every Wednesday at 06:00 hours to reach SMVT Bengaluru on Friday at 10:00 hours has been further extended to run from May 29 to June 12.
In return direction, train no 06569 (SMVT Bengaluru –Guwahati) special departing from SMVT Bengaluru on every Sunday at 00:30 hours to reach Guwahati on Tuesday at 5:30 hours has been extended to run from May 26 to June 9.
Train no 06221 (Mysuru – Muzaffarpur) special departing from Mysuru on every Monday at 10:30 hours to reach Muzaffarpur on Wednesday at 13:30 hours has been further extended to run up to June 10. In return direction, train no 06222 (Muzaffarpur – Mysuru) special departing from Muzaffarpur on every Thursday at 13:00 hours to reach Mysuru on Saturday at 16:40 hours has been extended to run up to June 13.
The extension of these train services will benefit wait listed passengers of other trains running in these directions. The details of stoppages and timings of these trainsare available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway.
