
Guwahati, December 3 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to continue the service of few special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.
The special trains will run as per its existing days of service, timings, stoppages and composition, an official release informed, while another special train between Kamakhya and Delhi in both directions for a single trip has been introduced.
Accordingly, special train no. 08047 (Santragachi – Guwahati)will continue with its services from December 1 till 29.
Special train no. 03103 (Sealdah – New Jalpaiguri) will continue with its services from December 2-30.
Special train no. 07046 (Secunderabad – Dibrugarh) will continue with its services from December 4 till January 28, 2024.
Meanwhile, special train no. 05624 (Kamakhya – New Delhi) will run for a single trip on December 4 2023 leaving Kamakhya at 11 PM hours to reach New Delhi on December 6.
In return direction, train no. 05623 (New Delhi - Kamakhya) will run for a single trip on December 6 to reach Kamakhya on December 8.
Another, special train no. 05626 (Kamakhya – Delhi Jn.) will run for a single trip on December 9 and returned on December 11.
However, train no. 15630 (Silghat Town – Tambaram) express commencing journey on December 8 has been cancelled due to possible adverse affects of cyclone Michaung hitting coastal part of Andhra Pradesh, the release added.
