NFR extends special train services

Maligaon, April 2 (MExN): In a bid to clear the extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to continue the services of train no. 02525/02526 (Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya) special train upto June, 2024 for a total 13 trips in both directions.

Accordingly, Train No. 02525 (Kamakhya–Anand Vihar Terminal) special will depart from Kamakhya on every Friday from April 5 to June 28 at 10:45 PM to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 8:50 AM on Sunday. In return direction, train No. 02526 (Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya) special will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on every Sunday from April 7 to June 30 at 5:20 PM to reach Kamakhya at 3:40 AM on Tuesday. The special train will run with its existing composition and stoppages.

Further, to facilitate the pilgrimage of Tirupati, it has been decided to operate a one-way special train from Tirupati towards Guwahati. Train no. 07042 (Tirupati-Guwahati) specialwill depart from Tirupati at 12:00 PM of April 3 and will arrive Guwahati at 9:15 AM of April 5. The train will run via Vijayawada Jn, Rajamundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam Road, Khurda Road Jn., Cuttack, Balasore, Kharagpur Jn., Dankuni, Rampur Hat, Malda Town, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Cooch Behar, New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon & Goalpara. The train will run with a composition of 23 coaches consisting of AC 3-tier and sleeper class coaches.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey, stated a press release issued by Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR.
