Maligaon, September 19 (MExN): To manage the increased demand for travel during the festive season, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has extended the services of several weekly special trains.
Train No. 05671, running from Guwahati to Anand Vihar Terminal, will now operate every Wednesday until November 27, 2024. In the return direction, Train No. 05672, from Anand Vihar Terminal to Guwahati, will run every Friday until November 29, 2024.
Similarly, Train No. 02525, operating from Kamakhya to Anand Vihar Terminal, will run every Friday until November 29, 2024. The return train, No. 02526, will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal to Kamakhya every Sunday, with services extended until December 1, 2024.
The weekly special train No. 05734, which travels from Katihar to Amritsar, will now operate every Thursday from September 19 to November 28, 2024. In the return direction, Train No. 05733, from Amritsar to Katihar, will run every Saturday from September 21 to November 30, 2024.
For passengers traveling between Guwahati and Sri Ganganagar, Train No. 05636 will run every Wednesday from October 2 to November 27, 2024. The return journey, Train No. 05635, from Sri Ganganagar to Guwahati, will operate every Sunday from October 6 until December 1, 2024.
