
Maligaon, April 3 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to extend the service of weekly Agartala - Secunderabad - Agartala Special train from April 4 to July 1 to clear the summer rush of passengers, according to NFR Chief Public Relations Officer Sabyaschi De.
The CPRO informed through a press release that Train No. 07030 (Secunderabad-Agartala Special), will depart from Secunderabad at 16:35 hrs on all Mondays from April 4 till June 27. The special train will extend its services for a total of 13 trips and will run via Guntur, Vijayawada, Vishakapatnam, Khurda Road, Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, Kharagpur Jn., Malda Town, New Jalpaiguri Jn., New Bongaigaon Jn. (via Goalpara Town), Guwahati, Badarpur Jn., New Karimganj and Dharmanagar railway stations reaching Agartala at round 03:00 hrs, every Thursday.
As per the extension schedule, Train No 07029 (Agartala – Secunderabad Special), will start its journey from Agartala railway station at 06:10 hrs, every Friday from April 8 to July 1 and cover a total of 13 trips from Agartala via similar routes in a reverse order to reach its destination of Secunderabad railway station, at 16:15 hrs every Sunday, the release stated.
The Agartala – Secunderabad - Agartala special train will consist of 20 coaches out of which there will be two Luggage-Cum-Guard Van, two General Second Class Coaches, 10 Sleeper coaches, five AC Three Tier Coaches and one AC Two Tier Coach.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway, the release stated while requesting passengers to check the details before undertaking their journey.
