Maligaon, November 20 (MExN): Northeast Frontier Railway introduced free Wi-Fi Entertainment System in 20501/20502 Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani Express last month. This facility is available to all passengers who have a Wi-Fi enabled device irrespective of class of travel, stated a press release from NFR CPRO Pranav Jyoti Sharma. More content will be provided in a phased manner taking the total media content to about 500 hours. More train in NF Railway will be brought under the service soon. The first train in Indian Railways to get Wi-Fi facility was Howrah-Delhi Rajdhani Express. Since then several other Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto and Gatiman Express trains have been covered under Indian Railway’s plan of providing Wi-Fi Internet service in trains moving at more than 100 km per hour, the release added.
