NFR resumes more short distance trains

Guwahati, October 17 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has resumed the services of few more trains to provide enhanced connectivity to the short distance and Inter district passengers, an official release said today. 

Services of DEMU special have been resumed between Dibrugarh Town and Ledo stations while services of daily special train will resume between Tinsukia and Lumding stations from October 18, informed the release issued by NFR CPRO Guneet Kaur.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and social media platforms of NFR, it said.

Passengers are requested to observe the Covid-19 related safety measures and instructions issued by State Government during journey, it added. 

Details of the Services 
•    Services of Train No. 07906/07907 Dibrugarh Town - Ledo - Dibrugarh Town DEMU special have been resumed to run daily from October 17 (except Saturday). The train will depart from Dibrugarh Town at 7:05AM to reach Ledo 10:15 AM. On its returned journey, the train will leave Ledo at 5:40PM hours to reach Dibrugarh Town at 9:35PM.  
•    Train No. 05902 Tinsukia – Lumding special will run daily October 18 leaving from Tinsukia at 7:05AM to reach Lumding at 7:10PM. Again, Train No. 05901 Lumding - Tinsukia special will run daily October 19, leaving from Lumding at 7:30AM hours to reach Tinsukia at 7PM hours.
