NFR to introduce 2 new train services

MALIGAON, OCTOBER 18 (MExN): In a bid to enhance rail connectivity, the North East Frontier Railway (NFR) is extending two train services upto Silchar and Agartala and at the same time introducing two new train services.

Train no. 15617/15618 Guwahati – Dullabcherra – Guwahati tri-weekly express will be flagged off from Guwahati and extended service of train no. 12514/12513 Guwahati–Secunderabad – Guwahati upto Silchar will be flagged from Silchar on October 19. Also, train no. 07688/07687 Agartala – Sabroom – Agartala DEMU and extended service of train No. 12520/12519 Kamakhya – LokmanyaTilak (T) – Kamakhyaup to Agartala will be flagged from Agartala on same day. 

Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof (Dr.) Manik Saha along with other dignitaries will be present at Guwahati and Agartala Railway Stations respectively. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology will also join the flagging off programme online.
