Maligaon, August 13 (MExN): As part of Independence Day 2025 celebration, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will present a patriotic performance at the Eco Park, Amingaon, Guwahati on August 15 evening.
The performance will feature a line-up of patriotic songs, with RPF Band performances lighting up important Indian Railways locations including Kakori Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh, Rail Museum and Hubli Public Garden near Hubli Railway Station in Karnataka and Eco Park, Amingaon in Guwahati.
The event at Amingaon will be graced by Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager, NFR along with other senior railway officials, staff, their family members and public, all coming together to celebrate the pride and unity of the nation.
Indian Railways has also set up special Selfie Points at different locations inspired by the ‘Operation Sindoor’ theme. In addition, family members of freedom fighters will be honoured and a display showcasing the achievements of the Armed Forces during Operation Sindoor will be presented, stated a press release issued by Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR.
