NFR to operate more special trains to clear festive rush

Guwahati, November 12 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will be operating few more festive special trains to meet the escalating demand of passengers during the festive rush. 

These festive special trains will operate connecting major destinations and maintaining its punctuality, informed an official release. 

Accordingly, festivespecial train no. 07540 (Katihar – Manihari) will run on daily basis from November 10-December 10.

In return direction, train no. 07539 (Manihari - Katihar) will run on daily basis from November 11 to December 11.

Meanwhile, festive special train no. 07602/07601 (Agartala – Dharmanagar - Agartala) and train no 07604/07603 (Agartala – Sabroom - Agartala) will run for four trips from November 13-16 in both directions.

Festive special train no. 04536 (Chandigarh – Katihar) will run for four trips on November 10, 13, 16 and 19. In return direction, train no. 04535 (Katihar - Chandigarh) will run for four trips on November 12, 15, 18 & 21. 

Festive special train no. 05978 (Dibrugarh – Gorakhpur) will run for three trips on every Monday from November 13-27.

In return direction, train no. 05977 (Gorakhpur - Dibrugarh) will run for three trips on every Wednesday from November 15-29.

Further, train no. 05974 (New Tinsukia - Madhubani) will run for three trips on every Tuesday from November 14-28. In return direction, train no. 05973 (Madhubani – New Tinsukia) will run for three trips on every Wednesday from November 17-29.

Train no. 02301/02302 (Howrah – New Jalpaiguri - Howrah) Vande Bharat Special will operate for three trips on every Wednesday from November 15-29.
