NFR to operate special trains from Oct 23 to 26

Maligaon, October 21 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to operate two special trains between Agartala - Dharmanagar - Agartala and Agartala - Sabroom - Agartala to clear the extra rush of passengers during Diwali and mela at Tripureswari Temple, Udaipur.

Both the trains will be operated from October 23 to 26 in both directions, according to a press release issued by the Chief Public Relations Officer Sabyasachi De on Friday.

Special Train No 07687 (Agartala - Dharmanagar), will depart from Agartala at 05:20 hours to reach Dharmanagar at 08:45 hours. Special Train No 07688 (Dharmanagar - Agartala), will depart from Dharmanagar railway station at 10:35 hours to reach Agartala at 14:00 hours. 

Similarly, Special Train No 07685 (Agartala - Sabroom), will depart from Agartala at 14:15 hours to reach Sabroom at 16:35 hours and Special Train No 07686 (Sabroom - Agartala), will depart from Sabroom at 17:00 hours to reach Agartala at 19:35 hours. 

Both the special trains will consist of 7 coaches and there will be six general sitting and one luggage-cum-guard van.
Further, train no. 52539/52538 (New Jalpaiguri – Darjeeling – New Jalpaiguri) AC passenger will remain cancelled from October 22 to 27 “due to poor patronization,” the release informed.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey, it added.
