
MALIGAON, MARCH 30 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of summer special trains to accommodate increased passenger demand during the upcoming travel season.
Two pairs of special trains will run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Narangi, as well as between Kolhapur and Katihar, the NFR said in a statement Sunday.
Train No. 01065, running from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Narangi, will depart at 11:05 a.m. on April 10 and arrive at 11 a.m. on April 12. The return train, No. 01066, will leave Narangi at 5:25 a.m. on April 13 and reach Mumbai at 8:25 a.m. on April 15.
The Kolhapur-Katihar service, Train No. 01405, will depart Kolhapur at 9:35 a.m. on April 6 and arrive in Katihar at 6:10 a.m. on April 8. The return journey, Train No. 01406, will leave Katihar at 6:10 p.m. on April 8 and reach Kolhapur at 3:35 p.m. on April 10. Each train will run for four trips in both directions.
Passengers are advised to check the IRCTC website and NFR’s social media platforms for route details, stoppages, and timings before planning their journey, officials said.
