Timings for periodic restriction of movement on NH-29 from Chathe River Bridge to Kukidolong stretch
Dimapur, December 16 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan on Wednesday informed that there would be total restriction of all movement from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to Kukidolong on the following days and time:

The directive is in pursuance to the Gauhati High Court. Kohima Bench Case No.PIL (Suo Moto)2/2019 regarding directives for blockage of traffic movement at Pagla Pahar area and in order to facilitate the progress of the four lane construction works and in the interest of public safety, the DC stated.
The restriction is necessitated to facilitate speedy completion of works and as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property.
General public has been advised to take the alternative route from Dimapur-Kohima / Kohima - Dimapur for light vehicles only via 7th Mile-New DC office-Shokhuvi-Razaphe-Mhaikam-Pimla-Mhainamtsi-Jhornapani/Medziphema and vice versa.
