Chümoukedima, January 7 (MExN): The NH-29 Land Owner Union has called for an emergency meeting on January 10 at the treasurer’s residence in Unity Village, Charity Residential School, 5th mile Chümoukedima.
Members already registered with the union but could not include in the 230 beneficiary list due to non-submission of land patta or failed to sign in the Vakalatnama are scheduled to meet at 10:00 am, the union Information & Publicity Secretary, Kewetso Kenye stated in a press release.
For fresh registration into the union for the compensation is scheduled at 2:00 pm. It is also informed to all the beneficiaries to bring 3 xerox copy of land patta.
The release stated that no consultation against the land compensation will be entertained after January 12 under any circumstances. Therefore, all concerned beneficiaries are requested to extend full cooperation without fail.
