NH-29 to reopen for one way traffic at Pagla Pahar stretch from Sept 24

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 23 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Chumoukedima has announced the reopening of National Highway 29 at the Tsiedukhru range, also known as Pagla Pahar, between Chathe Bridge (Patkai) and New Chumoukedima Village. The stretch, which was previously closed, is now open to all traffic.

In a travel advisory issued, the Deputy Commissioner informed that vehicle movement along this route will be regulated as one-way traffic, managed by the Traffic Police, Chumoukedima. The alternative route from Chumoukedima Town (Old Chekiye Gate) to New Chumoukedima via Old Chumoukedima Village will remain closed from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

The advisory comes into effect from 6:00 AM on September 24 and will remain in place until further notice. All concerned authorities have been informed to take necessary actions to ensure the smooth regulation of traffic and public safety.
