Kohima, September 10 (MExN): The Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) on Thursday informed that it is making ’earnest’ preparations to resume normal services at the hospital.
In a press statement Dr Thorhusie Katiry, Managing Director NHAK informed that the authority is putting up additional barriers as well as developing plans so that there will be seamless transition on rolling back the various public healthcare services.
Dr Katiry added that the segregation of non-COVID 19 cases from COVID-19 positive cases as well as those awaiting COVID-19 results requiring medical and surgical intervention must be prepared from the point of entry to discharge.
The release further added that information regarding resumption of services will be given once the remaining few symptomatic cases currently under the hospital’s care recovers or are shifted to the designated wards and necessary safety procedures are observed.
The resumption of services at NHAK was also deliberated during the District Task Force meeting held on September 9 at DC Office Kohima.
In this regard, the hospital authority appealed to the public to bear the inconveniences for some time.
