Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): The handloom exhibition organised by the Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation was inaugurated by Prasiele Pienyu, Managing Director, NHHDC Ltd., Dimapur at Urban Hut on November 4.
The exhibition is sponsored by the office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms) Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi. It will culminate on November 17.
All together there are 60 participants from Assam, Kashmi and from the various districts of the home state, Nagaland, exhibiting varieties of Handloom, Khadi and Handicraft crafted Products.
The main aim and objective of the exhibition is to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bring about linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner. It is also serve to provide marketing opportunities to handicraft artisans.
