P Tokugha Sema, Director, Department of Industries and Commerce inaugurates the handloom exhibition.
Dimapur, September 11 (MExN): The Director of Department of Industries and Commerce, Nagaland, P Tokugha Sema inaugurated the handloom exhibition organised by the Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd and sponsored by Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi.
The exhibition will be held from September 10 to 23. Altogether, 60 participants from Assam and various districts of Nagaland are exhibiting varieties of handloom, khadi and handicraft crafted products.
The NHHDC Ltd in a press release stated that the main aim and objective of the exhibition is to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bring about linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner. It is also serves to provide marketing opportunities to handicraft artisans.
