
Dimapur, September 3 (MExN): National Highway & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) under Ministry of Road Transport & Highway (MoRTH) has been entrusted the construction of four-laning of NH-39 Dimapur to Kohima road from existing Km 124.100 to Km 179.900 (Design Km 123.840 to Design Km 166.700) in a state of Nagaland, Patkai bridge to Jotsoma Bypass.
In this connection, NHIDCL divided the entire stretch into three small stretches and invites bids from eligible contractor.
NHIDCL, BO-Dimapur General Manager (Projects) A.K. Gupta in a press note informed that after finalization of tender and LI (lowest) bidders subsequently NHIDCL signed contract agreement with the following:
1) M/s Ramky-ECI (JV) for “four laning of Dimapur to Kohima road from existing Km 124.100 to existing Km 140.000 (design km 123.840 to design km 138.775) on EPC mode of contract” (package-1) on 12.05.2016.
2) M/s Ramky-ECI (JV) for “four laning of Dimapur to Kohima road from existing Km 140.000 to existing Km 156.000 (design km 138.775 to design km 152.490) on EPC mode of contract” (package-11) on 12.05.2016.
3) M/s) Gayatri project Ltd. for “four laning of Dimapur to Kohima road from existing Km 156.000 to existing Km 172.900 (design km 152.490 to design km 166.700) on EPC mode of contract” (package-111) on 22.04.2016.
Consequently the competent authority in NHDCL has declared appointed date as 03.08.2016 for package -11 of M/s Ramky-ECI (JV) and 08.08.2016 for package -111 of M/s Gayatri projects limited.
The press note further stated that brief ceremony to announce formal commencement of work in package-11 was organised by M/s Ramky-ECI (JV) on August 28 at Perima village in presence of Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur as chief guest, ADC Medziphema, SDO (C) Medziphema, OC Medziphema, village chiefs, officials of NHIDCL and Assam Rifles.
