Kohima | June 13 : The Nagaland Hotels Limited (NHL) today organised a grand farewell programme to its outgoing general manager M. Longkumer at a function held here at Hotel Japfü.
Speaking on the occasion, Longkumer maintained that Hotel Saramati and Hotel Japfü are the pride of the state where everyone eye with great interest. In this, he called upon the staff to project and maintain the reputation of these two hotels. Touching on shortage of accommodation at Hotel Japfü, Longkumer said the need for expansion has been felt and it came into conclusion that the best way is to carry the same in the available vacant space. Towards this, MLA Nuklustoshi was showing keen interest and the Detailed Project Report (DPR) has already been submitted to the government and the project is going to turn into a reality. He also called upon the staff to maintain dedication and sincerity and keep the race of others. He said there may be late start but finishing matters. Longkumer continued that cooperation, coordination, dedication and clear mindset is required to take Hotel Saramati and Hotel Japfü to the greater height.
The outgoing general manager stated he will ever remember the support and cooperation extended by the staff, adding that their contributions and inputs have enabled the NHL to function smoothly and efficiently. Longkumer will be going back to his parent department of industries and commerce. He assured that he will continue to help to further the ambitious plan of NHL, especially Hotel Saramati and Hotel Japfü.
Neichüwheno, Deputy General Manager Hotel Saramati in her speech said the outgoing general manager has given his best and acknowledged his intervention toward the growth of NHL. Neichüwheno also looks forward his special contribution towards a continual growth of NHL.
Also speaking on the occasion, Shürhovol Naleo, Deputy General Manager Hotel Japfü was appreciative of the outgoing general manager for rendering his best service and also moulding the staff in which the NHL have achieved a great height in national and international level today. Asserting that the staffs have learnt many things from the latter in 9 years, Naleo further looks forward his continuous help. Earlier, the function was chaired by Kazhüni Phesao, manager Hotel Japfü. Special numbers were presented by staff and officers of Hotel Japfü and Hotel Saramati.
