Kohima, April 22 (MExN): The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is holding the Open Hearing of Single Bench to be headed by Justice D. Murugesan, Member, NHRC, on April 24 at ATI, Kohima.
According to a press release, eight cases pertaining to Nagaland would be taken up in the Open Hearing. The NHRC delegation consists of three other senior officers. Justice Murugesan will inaugurate the programme at 10:00 am and the open hearing is scheduled from 10:45 am to 11:30 am.
Thereafter, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm there would be a meeting with NGOs. This would be followed by a meeting with senior officers of the state government from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and a media briefing from 1:00 to 1:30 pm.
