The agitation of the Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association entered the second day on Friday with complete cessation of works except for emergency and life saving services.
Media Cell, NIDA informed that a meeting was called by the Chief Secretary on October 29 at the Secretariat conference hall with NIDA executive members along with other officials.
During the meeting, it was informed that NIDA executives have explained its demand of 62 years superannuation 'without any criteria/condition' and 'to remove the re-employment' from the Notification NO.HFW-5/A/1/2007 III/602 Dated Kohima, July 15, 2022.
However, the meeting was said to have ended in a deadlock with no outcome as such.
To this end, Media Cell NIDA informed that it would continue its agitation, and has further informed all the health units across the state to strictly maintain the advisory given by NIDA on October 25, 2022 till further information from the office.
