
Dimapur, April 18 (MExN): In view of the ongoing three-day mass casual leave protest by the Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association (NIDA), the Dimapur District Level Control Room has been constituted to co-ordinate and monitor the situation in the district.
The control room was constituted in pursuance of an April 16 Office Memorandum from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland regarding instructions for management of situation arising on account of call for agitation through mass casual by NIDA, stated on order issued by the Rajesh Soundararajan, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur on Monday.
This order comes into force with immediate effect, it said.
The Control Room should be in constant touch with the State Level Control Room and provide regular status updates for effective monitoring and it shall also provide guidance to any individual needing access to Health Care facilities during such period, it added.
As per the order, the control room has been constituted with following members: Hotolu Sema, SDO (C) Avonuo Kire, EAC; Chief Medical Officer Dimapur; Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Dimapur; and Representative for Commissioner of Police, Dimapur and DPRO, Dimapur.
