Kohima, June 16 (MExN): Nino Iralu was sworn in as the new Lokayukta of Nagaland at a programme held at the conference hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima on June 16.
Nino Iralu succeeds, Banuo Z Jamir, former Chief Secretary of Nagaland, who completed her five-year term as Lokayukta, Nagaland, stated a DIPR report.
Chief Secretary, Dr J Alam IAS administered the ‘oath of office’ and Home Commissioner, Anoop Khinchi, IAS initiated the official proceedings. Among those present during the occasion included senior officials, officers and staffs of Lokayukta, well wishers and family members.
