
New Delhi, June 24 (MExN): The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has informed that its next public examinations for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses will be held in October–November 2025 and has invited eligible institutions to serve as examination centres.
As per NIOS exam bylaws, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, government/government-aided/private schools, colleges, and institutions affiliated with CBSE, ICSE, state boards, or universities are eligible to serve as such centres.
For the exams likely beginning in the first week of October, principals and heads of schools/colleges can apply online for exam centre registration through the official portal https://exams.nios.ac.in, an official release informed.
Detailed norms for exam centres are available on the NIOS website, it said.
Applicants must upload a completed Bank Undertaking Proforma and submit the original Centre Acceptance Form along with the Bank Undertaking to the respective NIOS Regional Centre promptly, it added.
NIOS conducts public examinations twice a year, in April–May and October–November, for its open schooling programmes.
