DIMAPUR, May 25 (MExN): In celebration of its 25th anniversary, NITI Nagaland has announced up to 100 percent scholarships for the top 10 science stream students from Nagaland’s NBSE and CBSE boards, covering computer courses as well as NEET and JEE (Mains & Advanced) coaching. The scholarship offer will remain valid until June 30, 2025.
The initiative is aimed at promoting STEM careers among Class X and XII toppers and forms part of a broader expansion of the institute’s mission to support aspiring doctors and engineers from Nagaland and the Northeast.
As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations, the NIIT/NITI centers in Dimapur and Chümoukedima, under Lords Infotech Management Pvt. Ltd., are also inviting past and present students, alumni, parents, faculty, and supporters to contribute testimonies and articles for a commemorative souvenir to be released on June 18, 2025. The best entries, whether written or in video format, will be suitably rewarded. Submissions are to be sent by June 5 to aks_dmr@yahoo.co.uk.
Ajay Sethi, Managing Director of NIIT Dimapur/NITI Nagaland, said the institute has served over 40,000 students in the past 25 years and facilitated job placements for more than 5,000 youth across the region.
“Our legacy includes professional excellence, entrepreneurship support, and a commitment to social service and scholarship,” Sethi stated, adding that the Silver Jubilee is an opportunity to both reflect and recommit to advancing educational access and technical skills for the youth of Nagaland.
The institute extended an open invitation to all stakeholders to join in the celebrations and contribute stories and reflections that capture NITI’s transformative journey over the past two and a half decades.
