Niuland citizens deserve better road

Dimapur

The face of Dimapur is changing; we can feel it all round the corner. Almost all the roads connecting the main ways r being constructed n renovated.

Mean while, in the road to Niuland, people r fishing out their long lost shoes and sandals, very soon we will hear headlines “world biggest cat fish caught on the road to Niuland” or “4 years old kid drown on the road while trying to fetch his marble.”

The roads are abandoned, like an old cottage, in fact the roads has become a floating river connecting the mighty Zubza River. It is a life line to hundreds of villages, and an alternate approach road to Kohima when the main high way is non functional, there also we have schools and pregnant teachers and mothers plying the road. The poor dumper drivers are trying their best unloading sand n rocks, alas! It only worsens the read especially for small cars, with huge Boulders of rocks floating on the sand. People are hanging on with hope but still…

The good denizens of that area too deserves good road like the rest.
