Nkhao congratulates, says peace and unity is corridor to development

DIMAPUR, MARCH 14 (MExN): Nkhao Lotha, Parliamentary Secretary, Mechanical, Soil & Water Conservation, Nagaland expressed his happiness and congratulated the successful Lotha candidates of NPSC examination 2005.

While expressing happiness that five out of eight successful candidates were from Lotha Middle Range, Nkhao urged the Middle Range Students to excel in studies by fearing God, respecting the elders and also to maintain dignity of labour stated Chenithung Jungi, President NPF 39 Sanis Assembly Constituency, Wokha.

Nkhao further urged the students to preserve the rich customs and cultures of the Lothas so that the distinct identity is maintained and that the future generation is not confused stated the release. 

Speaking as the Chief Guest at the Valedictory session of the 7th Lotha Middle Range Students’ Union at Baghty Town on January 11 on the theme, ‘Lothas at the cross road’ Lotha said, ‘peace and unity is a pre-requisite for all round development, as such, peace and unity should be maintained at any cost’ stated the release.

While articulating that the present NPF led DAN Government through the efforts of Dr.T.M.Lotha has provided sufficient funds for development of Wokha district, Nkhao regretted that due to the prevalence of the land owners’ problem in the Lotha community, many of the developmental works are abandoned and half done stated the release.

Therefore, Nkhao strongly urged the students to play their role in solving the land owners’ problem so that the economic development in the district is speeded.

He also donated Rs. 25,000 towards the union’s fund and cash award to the mothers of Baghty Town stated Chenithung Jungi.
