Peren, November 16 (MExN): The Nsong Kebai Public Organisation (NKPO) has appealed transport department to provide NST Bus services to Nsong HQ and Kebai Khelma area, Peren District.
A press release from NKPO President Zekul stated that due to limited private taxis plying to these regions, taxis are over packed making the journey difficult.
The President also mentioned that “during winter/festive season, most people travel from their villages to Jalukie or Dimapur for various purposes.”
“The road condition at present is fine for NST-bus to ply,” he further mentioned.
Citing problems of limited taxi services and high costs of fares, he appealed concerned department to look into the matter and added, “it is high time that the transport department initiate necessary steps to reduce the over-crowded travel, to make the journey bearable.”
