The NKY Kiphire held a Yuva Utsav Government Higher Secondary School, Kiphire on June 17.
Kiphire, June 18 (MExN): The Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Sangathan, Kiphire under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GOI and District Administration Kiphire organised 2nd edition of Yuva Utsav at Government Higher Secondary School, Kiphire on June 17.
Gracing the occasion as special guest, DC Kiphire John Tsulise (NCS) in his speech congratulated the NYK, Kiphire for organising the event to boost the moral, building more confidence and shaping the minds of the young people towards a better human resource.
In the keynote address, Rebecca Rangnamei, DYO NYK, Kiphire said it is a delight for NYK, Kiphire to share a common platform with district administration and bringing different cultures and tribes under one event. The DYO also informed that the participants will represent the district in the state and national level.
GHSS Kiphire, Principal Yogendra Pal Singh in his welcome address hoped that this programme will instill new skills, knowledge and learning for all the participants.
Some of the highlights of the event were Young Artist Camp- Painting, Young Artist Camp - Poem, Photography, Declamation Contest, and Cultural events from different schools both private and government. Different communities and churches around Kiphire Town also took part in the event.
