Kohima, October 7 (MExN): The Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Secretariat has issued a press release informing all former Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and their families that the revised pension form is now available. This update follows the recent approval of the Nagaland Salaries, Allowances, and Other Facilities of the Chief Minister, Speaker, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, Leader of Opposition, Deputy Speaker, and other Members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and Pension for Ex-Members Act, 2024 (Sixth Amendment), which received assent from the Governor on April 15. Ex-MLAs and their families are requested to collect the updated pension form from the Members’ Amenities Branch at the Assembly Secretariat during office hours starting from October 11.
