Kohima, February 28 (MExN): The Deputy Speaker & Speaker-in-charge of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, and officers and staff of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly bid farewell to N. Benjamin Newmai, Commissioner & Secretary, who retired on February 28 on attainment of superannuation.
Short Speeches were delivered by Zhaleo Rio, Deputy Speaker & Speaker- in- charge NLA, K. Sekhose, Secretary the incoming Administrative Head of the Department, the Staff Association and Dr. Vinito Chishi, State Coordinator, LFA.
The outgoing Commissioner & Secretary N. Benjamin Newmai expressed gratitude to the Speaker, Deputy Speaker & Speaker- in- charge NLA, and all the officers and staff for their constant support and cooperation during his stint in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
The invocation prayer was invoked by Rev. Kuzierang Thou, State Chaplain and the programme concluded with a mass prayer.
