The 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly in its first session today paid homage to three departed leaders by observing two minute silence.
Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) speaker Er. Vikho-o Yhoshu made obituary references to the passing away of three former members of NLA – late Nyeiwang Konyak, late J. Maputemjen Ao and late M. Chenlom Phom.
Nyeiwang Konyak (47 Aboi A/C) passed away at the age of 70 on January 31, 2018.
J. Maputemjen Ao (26th Aonglenden A/C) passed away on February 6, 2018 at the age of 86 and M. Chenlom Phom (50 Longleng A/C) passed away at the age of 77 on March 13.
