Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Speaker Sharingain Longkumer today adjourned the 6th session of the 14th NLA sine–die after completing all the proceeding of the business listed since its commencement on Monday (March 3).

“In these five-day sitting, we could pass 8 Bills apart from many other subjects requiring urgent attention of the government. We could also take up 5 subjects of paramount importance for discussion under Rule-50 and Rule-54 respectively,” he said.

On personal view on the Budget, the Speaker stated it was is one of the “most holistic budget presented to this August House.” It signifies a resurgent Nagaland and would transform the State in the coming days with all the challenges,” he added.
