NLA tables Nagaland Economic Survey, CAG reports on final day

Kohima, March 28 (MExN): The final day of the first session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly on March 28 witnessed tabling of various reports as well as passing of Bills. As per the State DIPR, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio laid the Economic Survey 2022-2023 of the Directorate of Economic and Statistics on Thursday while two reports of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India -Social, Economic, General and Revenue Sectors for the year ended 31st March 2020. (Report No-2 of the year 2022) and State Finances Audit Report for the year ended 31st March, 2022 (Report No-1 of the year 2023), were also presented in the House. 

Rio also the Annual Administrative Reports (AARs) 2022-2023 of 17 departments such as  Finance, Chief Electoral Officer, Food & Civil Supplies, Land Resources, New & Renewable Energy, Agriculture, Economics & Statistics, School Education, Law & Justice, Youth Resources & Sports etc. 

The AARs Home; Power; Electrical Inspectorate; Health & Family Welfare; Women Resource Development and Horticulture Department were also laid on the floor of the House by respective ministers. 

The Chief Minister also presented the following Finance Accounts 2021-2022 (Vol-I&Vol-II) and Appropriation Accounts 2021-22. The Supplementary Demand for Grants for the year 2022- 2023 and Demand for Grants for the year 2023-2024 were also passed by the House.
