PEREN, OCTOBER 16 (MExN): A team of National Level Monitors (NLM), led by SK Chauhan from the Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, visited Peren on October 16 to assess various government programs in the district. The meeting took place at the DC's Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Hiazu Meru.
During the meeting, Chauhan outlined the purpose of the visit, which is to monitor the implementation of various schemes across Peren District. He noted that the team plans to conduct field visits to ten selected villages to inspect initiatives under several programs, including the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS), Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G), National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP), Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY), Watershed component, Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY), and SVAMITVA.
In his closing remarks, DC Hiazu Meru urged the heads of offices to provide their full support to the monitoring team during their field visits, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for successful implementation of these schemes.
