Kohima, February 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) has expressed pain and anguish over the events leading to the death of two Naga youth and loss of properties including the NLSF office situated at old secretariat complex on February 2 night.
The Federation informed that on February 2 night, the NLSF Office was burned down along with the other offices adjacent to it. The Federation properties worth Rs. 3.5 lakhs including office documents and records were damaged during the unfortunate incident.
The Federation President, Imliben Lemtur and Vice President, Yuwang conveyed condolence to the departed souls and pray to almighty God to grant peace and solace to the bereaved families. The Federation also strongly appeals to both Government of Nagaland and the tribal hohos to calm down and sort out the differences through dialogue without indulging into violence means.
