Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): The Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) held a presidential meeting on March 7 in Dimapur regarding the long pending desire for a government/public Law college in the State.
A press release from the NLSF President C Talimoa and Information & Publicity Secretary Renbeni Ezung lamented the “lackadaisical attitude” and said “It is a matter of great concern that despite the passage of more than 57 years since attaining statehood, Nagaland is yet to have a Government Law College,” despite repeated appeals to the concerned authority.
NLSF further stated that without a government law college, the students from weaker economic backgrounds and far-flung locations were facing severe hardships in pursuing law studies in the State.
The Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) is determined to dedicate itself and to live upto its motto of ‘Justice for All’ to achieve its main goals which are an early completion of the Nagaland High Court, Government Law College and a Directorate of Prosecution in the state, the press release stated.
