Kohima, August 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) today resolved to carry out its second phase of ‘dharna’ if the State government turns deaf ear to its demands, according to a statement from NLSF Speaker, Nungshimeren Jamir and Deputy Speaker, Inakhu Assumi.
In its first Federal Assembly held on August 4 at Red Cross conference hall here, the Federation discussed to remind the government of Nagaland to set up government law college in the State as assured by the latter and separate law department at Nagaland University. NLSF resolved to begin its second phase of ‘dharna’ if the government fails to fulfill the demands.
The meeting also decided to conduct inter law college moot court annually. The Federation further resolved to continue and stand by the free and fair election campaign as enshrined under the Indian constitution.
