Members of Naga Mothers' Association (NMA) handing over essential items for quarantine centre at Peren.
Kohima, June 9 (MExN): The Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) visited Peren on June 7 and donated essential items to the Zeliangrong Mepui Organisation (ZMO) and the Peren district administration as part of the NMA’s COVID-19 relief drive.
A press release from the NMA stated that the relief work was conducted in collaboration with the Salesians of Don Bosco Province. The donated items comprised of 500 kgs rice, 60 kgs of dal, 2 bags of potatoes, 10 kgs of sugar, 5 kgs of milk, 5 kgs of tea leaf, and 10 cartons of eggs.
The NMA informed that it would also be sending the same items to the Tuensang Quarantine Centre through the District Task Force Tuensang.
